About The AfroSouthern Education Project

Founded in 2011, The Afro-Southern Education Project is Dedicated to Preserving and Sharing the Material, Agricultural, Oral, Literary, Musical, Recreational, Religious, and Folk Heritage of the African and African American Southern Experience in the United States, the Caribbean, Central America & South America. A series of lecture concerts have been the center of the project, future expansions are planned. AfroSouthern Education Project’s forthcoming projects include: The AfroSouthern Folk Music & Cultural Arts Festival, the AfroSouthern Film Festival, the AfroSouthern Baseball Tournament, the AfroSouthern Literary & Storytelling Circle, and AfroSouthern Excursions
